Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Do you want self-propelled movement but still expect to guide a walk-behind mower?
Yes. EGO describes Touch Drive self-propulsion from 0.9 to 3.1 mph on the shared 21-inch mower page.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need a kit with two included batteries of at least 4 Ah each?
Yes. Exact LM2132SP-2 configuration row says two 4.0 Ah packs and a Rapid Charger are included.
Explore this need in the finder →Can you choose a bagging route with the Select Cut mower?
Yes. Shared exact page lists bagging and a two-bushel bag; appropriate blade and clipping setup are required.
Explore this need in the finder →Would a requirement for at least 6 Ah per included pack fit?
No. The two packs in this exact package are each 4.0 Ah; do not add them together to meet a per-pack threshold.
Explore this need in the finder →The exact EGO LM2132SP-2 package pairs its 21-inch Select Cut Touch Drive mower with two 4.0 Ah batteries and a Rapid Charger. That makes it a ready-to-use kit, not a bare mower; it is distinct from LM2134SP-2, which includes two 6.0 Ah packs, and from LM2135SP, which has one 7.5 Ah pack. A two-pack label does not turn the capacities into one larger battery or guarantee a certain area cut. Choose this package only if two smaller packs suit your charging routine and the 4 Ah per-pack figure meets your needs.
What the second pack changes—and what it does not
The configuration table on EGO's US Select Cut page lists the LM2132SP-2 row as two 4 Ah batteries with a Rapid Charger, and the exact image shows the mower, charger and two separate packs. Its closest package comparisons are useful: the LM2134SP-2 keeps the same mower setup with two 6 Ah packs, while LM2135SP supplies one 7.5 Ah pack. LM2130SP is the tool-only choice with neither battery nor charger. These codes are not interchangeable. Check the exact suffix and the seller's carton rather than assuming a photo of the mower proves its battery contents.
EGO advertises up to 60 minutes on a single charge with its recommended 7.5 Ah battery. That is the manufacturer's maximum claim for the mower platform on a different battery basis—not a measured cut time, a guaranteed lawn size, or an LM2132SP-2 two-pack runtime. The exact kit page does not state combined minutes or area for its pair of 4 Ah batteries. Tall or wet grass, the lower blade selected, travel speed, battery condition and use of self-propel can affect the work completed. If one battery runs down, an available second pack may let you stop and exchange it, but this still entails a pause; do not translate total amp-hours into a runtime promise.
Choose it when you want powered walking pace
This is still an operator-guided walk-behind. EGO describes Touch Drive as pressure-controlled self-propulsion engaged in the palm, with a dial for variable speed; the product page lists 0.9 to 3.1 mph. It can help move the mower along a repeated route, but you remain responsible for steering around obstacles, managing turns and operating within the safety instructions. If you want to provide all forward force yourself, compare a push model. If reducing repeated walking is your overriding need, a riding or robotic format is a different choice rather than a larger battery kit.
The cutting width is 21 inches. That may be easier to position through a gate than a 22- or 30-inch machine, but measure the full mower and space to turn; the published cutting width is not the complete outside dimension. EGO lists eight height positions from 1 to 4 inches, one-handed adjustment, vertical-folding storage and IPX4 weather resistance. Treat the rating as an electrical-equipment specification, not a cleaning or storage instruction. The mower still needs a dry, suitable storage spot, and a folded-handle configuration must fit the actual shed or garage opening.
Three clipping routes, one at a time
EGO describes three interchangeable lower blades for the Select Cut system: mulching, high-lift bagging and extended runtime, used with an upper blade. The product page lists mulching, bagging and side discharge and a two-bushel grass bag. These routes require different setups. Mulching can keep routine clippings on the lawn when the grass conditions allow it. Bagging collects the material but means lifting and emptying a full bag. Side discharge moves clippings out of the deck without collection, which may be less convenient near beds or paths. Swapping blades or closures is maintenance and setup, not an automatic result of changing the drive control.
The package's 4 Ah batteries are the central limit if capacity per pack is an essential requirement. A minimum of 6 Ah per included battery should exclude LM2132SP-2 even though there are two batteries in the carton; two packs do not satisfy a per-pack condition by adding their labels together. Likewise, a required 22-inch deck should rule it out. Its strengths are more specific: an included mower, two smaller batteries, a Rapid Charger, Touch Drive, and several supported clipping arrangements in a 21-inch format.
Use family manual guidance with the right caveat
The EGO product page links a 56-volt mower manual whose cover identifies LM2130SP/LM2130 and LM2150SP family codes, not LM2132SP-2. I therefore treat it as shared-platform safety guidance, not confirmation that the exact kit suffix has its own matched manual. The manual says not to mow wet grass or slopes steeper than 15 degrees, to mow across slopes, and to turn off the motor, let the blade stop and remove the battery before cleaning, unclogging or changing the bag, mulch insert or discharge chute. It also says not to wash the mower with a hose. Check the instructions and compatible battery/charger list that come with the exact product.
On the EGO page checked for this assessment, the configuration is marked “Coming Soon”; no price or current retailer stock is claimed. For a shopper comparing the 800-series kits, the decision is practical: LM2132SP-2 gives you two 4 Ah packs, LM2134SP-2 two 6 Ah packs, LM2135SP one 7.5 Ah pack, and LM2130SP no packs or charger. Pick the exact supply and capacity you need rather than assuming more batteries mean a defined runtime. Compare the LM2134SP-2 two-6-Ah kit for a higher per-pack capacity, and check the exact SKU wherever you shop.

| Reviewed package | Exact LM2132SP-2 row lists two 4.0 Ah batteries and Rapid Charger; EGO currently labels it Coming Soon. The shared mower page gives up to 60 minutes with a recommended single 7.5 Ah battery, not a runtime/area claim for this two-pack kit. |

| Care and operation note | The linked family manual cover does not list LM2132SP-2. Shared platform guidance says no wet-grass mowing or slopes above 15 degrees, mow across slopes, wait for blade stop before battery removal for cleaning/unclogging/changing clipping setup, and do not hose-wash.
