Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Is self-propelled drive essential?
Greenworks and the exact manual identify self-propelled travel with separate drive levers and adjustable speed.
Explore this need in the finder →Must the exact box include four battery packs?
SKU2532902 includes four separate 24V 4.0Ah batteries; the mower needs two to run and the second pair supports automatic switchover.
Explore this need in the finder →What minimum capacity must each included battery meet?
Each of the four listed 24V packs is 4.0Ah; a requirement over 4Ah per pack is not met by this kit.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you require at least two active battery positions?
The exact manual shows four ports arranged as two battery pairs, and the mower requires at least two packs installed to run.
Explore this need in the finder →Which clipping route must be supported?
Mulching, rear bagging and side discharge are documented; Turbo is a speed control, not another clipping route.
Explore this need in the finder →Must an included high-lift bagging blade be confirmed?
The exact 2532902 package list/manual do not identify a high-lift alternate blade, so that requirement cannot be satisfied on available evidence.
Explore this need in the finder →Greenworks sells this mower as the LM2102S, but the package identity is more exact: U.S. SKU 2532902, internal model LME475, and manual cover code MO48L4423. That matters because the familiar 21-inch deck name also appears on different Greenworks battery bundles. The 2532902 box is the four-pack version, not the two-battery LM2112S bundle and not a single-battery 80V LM2108S.
Four batteries are an operating sequence, not one oversized pack
Greenworks lists four 24V 4.0Ah USB batteries and two dual-port chargers with this 48V mower. Its manual is unusually clear about what that means: two batteries must be installed for the mower to run; the deck has two battery doors and four ports, and the automatic switchover lets the other two packs take over after the first pair is depleted. Greenworks says the 70-minute maximum runtime uses all four fully charged packs. The four 4.0Ah batteries are separate 24V packs, not one 16Ah 48V battery, and the manual recommends beginning with both pairs fully charged. If your yard needs the four-pack setup to finish, confirm all four batteries and both chargers are in the exact carton rather than relying on the LM2102S name alone.
The maker's up-to-half-acre and up-to-70-minute figures are upper claims, not a promise for every lawn. Grass height and thickness, cut setting, bagging, self-propel use, turns and slope change the work per charge. Greenworks lists 40 minutes to charge an individual 4.0Ah 24V battery, but does not specify charger wattage or a single total time for replenishing all four. Two dual-port chargers are useful for handling a larger battery set; do not convert the per-battery time into a guaranteed four-pack turnaround.
Three clipping routes plus a Turbo control
The 21-inch steel deck has a single-lever, seven-position height adjustment from 1 3/8 to 4 inches. The product page lists mulch, side discharge and bagging as its three clipping routes. Its feature copy also calls the mower “4-in-1,” counting a Turbo button used for leaf pickup or extra blade speed. The manual says Turbo raises blade speed to 3,200 rpm; it does not describe a separate leaf-vacuuming attachment or fourth clipping outlet. Treat this as three physical ways to manage grass plus a cutting-speed feature, not a leaf vacuum. The grass catcher is in the reviewed kit; the manual shows how side discharge and mulching are set up, including the plug/chute arrangement.
This distinction changes what you should select in a finder. Choose bagging if you need a catcher-supported plan, mulch if you will use the plug, or side discharge for that route. Choose a separate high-lift blade only if the exact box contents prove it is included: the 2532902 package page and manual do not name one. A general ability to bag is not evidence of an alternate blade in the carton.
Drive, storage and handling
This is a rear-wheel-drive self-propelled walk mower with a variable-speed control slider, a start button and start handle. The manual shows separate drive levers rather than identifying one of the specialized control styles used by some other brands. Release the drive levers to disengage powered travel; you can still push the running mower yourself if that is your preferred pace. That is a manual-push operating option, not a push-only mower. If a specific trigger, palm-pressure or dual-toggle design is essential to you, this manual does not confirm one of those named layouts.
Greenworks lists 8-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels. The manual gives a 66-pound weight without battery packs, so it is not a complete loaded-kit carry weight. Four batteries, the catcher and chargers also need a place to live. The handle folds and the mower can be stored vertically, but the manual says to remove the battery packs and safety key, take off the catcher, and stand it on the specified brackets. Measure your storage opening and moving route with the full machine, not just the 21-inch cutting width.
Limits and package alternatives
Although the promotional text mentions sensors responding to thick, tall or wet grass, the owner manual explicitly says not to mow wet grass. Follow that instruction rather than treating marketing copy as permission to work on wet turf. The manual also warns against slopes over 15 degrees and says to keep self-propel speed low on slopes; choose another mowing arrangement if your ground exceeds that limit or your footing is uncertain. For ordinary care, it calls for clearing clippings from the deck and keeping the discharge path clean. Remove the safety key and battery packs before maintenance, blade work or storage.
Compared with the separate Greenworks LM2112S package, the main distinction is the included set: this LM2102S SKU gives four 4.0Ah batteries and two dual-port chargers, while the LM2112S SKU2532502 package is documented with two 5.0Ah packs and one dual-port charger. A 4Ah-per-pack minimum or a four-pack requirement therefore favors this exact LM2102S box; a higher per-pack capacity points the other way. The 80V LM2108S SKU2552102 is another distinct 21-inch self-propelled setup, with one 8Ah pack rather than the four 24V batteries. Compare exact SKUs, not only voltage or deck width.
Greenworks currently lists SKU2532902 as sold out, so its page is evidence of the configuration, not a promise of immediate stock. If shopping elsewhere, use the full LM2102S / LME475 / SKU2532902 search and check the battery and charger count in the seller's description. The page lists three-year tool and battery warranties; verify current terms and the serial-number requirements for the unit you buy.
