Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does model 21326T propel itself?
Yes. The exact model shares the self-propel drive-bar arrangement documented in Form 3457-923; this is a powered walk-behind, not a push-only mower.
Explore this need in the finder →Does 21326T use Toro Personal Pace?
No. Its manual describes the fixed-maximum-speed drive bar; it is not the Personal Pace control used on other Toro mowers.
Explore this need in the finder →What power system does the 21326T use?
It uses a Toro 60V battery system, but the exact T package contains no battery or charger. A compatible pack and charger must be supplied separately.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I bag clippings with the exact 21326T package?
Yes. The exact product page lists a grass bag and its manual documents installation; no separate high-lift blade is confirmed in the tool-only package.
Explore this need in the finder →The Toro 21326T is the bare-tool counterpart to the 21326: a 21-inch, 60V Recycler mower body with rear-wheel self-propel, but no battery or charger in the package. The exact product page still lists the mower, bag, bag frame and manual. This is most useful to a household that already owns a compatible Toro Flex-Force 60V battery and charger and wants to add a mower without buying another power kit. It is not a complete battery-mowing setup for someone starting from zero.
Confirm your power equipment before comparing price
Toro's parts-and-manual page identifies model 21326T separately, and Form 3457-923 names both 21326 and 21326T from serial 400000000 upward. The manual explicitly says the T model does not include a battery or charger. Its battery table names model 88650 (5.0 Ah/270 Wh) and charger 88610 as included with the non-T model 21326, not with 21326T. That model-code boundary is important: do not transfer the kit's 5 Ah pack, 230-minute charge time or 43-minute runtime into a tool-only comparison.
Toro's 21326T page also repeats marketing copy about a one-third-acre cut in 42 minutes or less, but its specifications say battery and run time are not included. For the bare tool, actual runtime and cut area depend on the compatible battery you add and on the lawn. The page lists a 58-pound weight without clarifying its exact weighing setup; treat it as a published listing, not a verified promise about how easy the mower will be to lift. The product's limited tool warranty is two years on Toro's page; the separate battery warranty belongs to a battery purchase and does not turn this mower package into a kit.
The mower itself is a 21-inch rear-drive Recycler
Package aside, Toro specifies a 21-inch steel deck, a 1.25-to-3.75-inch cut range with two-point adjustment, one rotary blade and a 2.0-bushel bag. The page describes a brushless 60V motor and SmartStow folding handle. The cutting path is not the full width of the mower; measure the narrowest gate and storage access rather than assuming a nominal 21-inch deck will pass through a 21-inch opening.
The self-propel system is a hold-to-engage drive bar, not Personal Pace. Form 3457-923 says the maximum travel speed is fixed and that increasing the gap between the drive bar and handle reduces speed. If you need a named drive control or a selectable speed range, the exact 21326T page does not substantiate one. Being self-propelled may reduce pushing effort on a routine lawn, but it remains a walk-behind that still has to be turned, guided around obstacles and moved to storage by a person.
Choose the clipping route with the parts list in mind
Toro calls the Recycler setup a three-way system: recycle clippings, bag them, or use side discharge. The manual says recycling is the factory setup and explains installing the grass bag. The 2.0-bushel bag is listed for this exact model. The chute, however, is not included. Toro says a free chute can be requested at registration, while the parts page lists the 21-inch steel-deck chute as an accessory. Treat side discharge as possible after you obtain the hardware, not as a ready-to-use package feature. No separate high-lift blade is confirmed in the box, so ordinary bagging support does not establish that blade requirement.
SmartStow is practical but requires preparation
Vertical storage can free garage floor space, but Toro's manual lays out conditions rather than treating it as a casual tilt. Remove the battery and electric-start button, set the cutting height to at least 1-3/4 inches, and fold the handle with its cables routed outside the locks. Toro warns not to start or transport it in the vertical position. The manual also instructs owners to remove the battery and start button before cleaning or maintenance, avoid mowing wet grass or in rain, and travel across rather than up and down a slope. It publishes no numeric maximum grade, so buyers with a strict slope limit should not infer one from the marketing category.
One practical question is whether your current Toro pack is healthy enough for mower work and how many cuts it can support in your conditions. The 21326T itself does not answer that with a supplied battery test or a verified yard-area guarantee. Check compatibility on the battery label, charge capacity, the manufacturer's guidance and the work you expect to do. Toro's manual describes residential lawn use and says the machine is not designed for brush or agricultural jobs.
21326T versus the 21326 kit
Choose 21326T if the main goal is to reuse compatible power equipment and you accept that the battery and charger are separate purchases. Choose 21326 if you need Toro's listed 5 Ah battery and charger in the reviewed package. The two codes share the basic 21-inch drive-bar mowing arrangement, but their delivered-power contents differ enough that a retailer title or mower-body photo is not sufficient. The 21327 is another 21-inch drive-bar kit, with its own exact 6 Ah package record. Compare the actual model code, included pack and charger, bag, and chute status rather than assuming the suffix is decorative.
